Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 16 June 2026
1. Agreement
By using Anxiety Pal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Questions about these Terms should be sent to contact@bemlw.com.
2. What Anxiety Pal Provides
Anxiety Pal provides practical support for anxious moments, including techniques, saved progress for signed-in users, a private Safety Plan, optional Safety Plan sharing, and links to support resources.
Core techniques can be used without an account. Saved progress, Safety Plan editing, and share link creation require sign-in.
3. Medical And Crisis Limits
Anxiety Pal is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or cure.
The app can support a difficult moment, but it is not a replacement for professional care, emergency services, or trusted in-person help. It does not assess risk, monitor whether you are safe, contact anyone for you, or guarantee that a technique will work.
Anxiety Pal is not a crisis-response service. If life is at risk or someone cannot stay safe, use local emergency services.
4. Accounts And Sign-In
You may sign in with Google or with email and password. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for telling us if you believe someone else has used your account.
Do not use another person's account or try to access another person's saved progress, Safety Plan, or share controls.
5. Safety Plan And Sharing
Your Safety Plan is private by default. You choose what to write, whether to create a share link, and whether to add a share password.
Share links are read-only for recipients, but anyone with an active link and required password can view the shared page until the link expires or is revoked. You are responsible for keeping share links and share passwords private and for revoking links you no longer want to use.
Safety Plan sharing is not emergency monitoring. Anxiety Pal does not contact trusted people, support organisations, clinicians, or emergency services on your behalf.
6. Your Content
You keep responsibility for the information you add to Anxiety Pal. You should avoid adding information you do not want stored in the app or shown through a share link.
You give Anxiety Pal permission to store and process your content only as needed to provide the parts of the app you use, including saving your Safety Plan and opening share links you create.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Break, overload, scrape, or interfere with the app.
- Try to bypass authentication, ownership checks, share expiry, or revocation controls.
- Use the app to harass, threaten, mislead, or expose private information about someone else.
- Upload content that you do not have the right to store or share.
8. Privacy And Data Requests
Our Privacy Policy explains what Anxiety Pal collects, including account data, technique progress, Safety Plan data, share-link behaviour, and the current no-analytics decision.
Data request route: use account settings for export or deletion when signed in. You can also email contact@bemlw.com for export, correction, or deletion help.
9. Availability And Changes
We aim to keep Anxiety Pal reliable, but the app may be unavailable, changed, or removed. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page.
10. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Anxiety Pal is provided as is and without guarantees. We are not responsible for losses caused by relying on the app as medical care, crisis response, emergency support, or guaranteed outcome tracking.
